Barcelona Weekend Break
Bars and clubs in Barcelona
All of the districts in Barcelona are packed with bars and clubs and you will have no
difficulty finding somewhere to suit your style and taste. The atmosphere and patrons of each bar tend to be determined by the bars location within the city.
If you are in the modern Barceloneta area, expect club style bars, a lively atmosphere and plenty of "open till late" night life.
If you stay in the Gothic quarter, expect something more atmospheric and traditional (although geared towards tourists), and if you frequent the "las Ramblas" zone, you will be in the middle of "tourist city", so expect to pay a premium for the privilege.
Other than that, all you need to know is that Barcelona has very few bad bars and any that treat tourists poorly soon go out of business, so all are keen to gain you custom and leave you wanting to return the next day.
Below are a few of Barcelona's city bars. The list is purely a sample aimed at giving you an idea of what you can expect. There are dozens more.>/p>
